Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Our treatment programs help clients recover from alcohol and drug abuse, in addition to treating a multitude of other psychological issues. Adding medication to a therapy program can be very effective for those dealing with addictions and those suffering from additional mental health challenges. All the medications used are FDA-approved.
PAC’s goal is to improve our clients’ physical and emotional well-being by providing the support needed to overcome addiction. The compassionate and highly trained medical staff leading our MAT program will work with your counselors to assess if MAT could help you succeed in recovery and identify the proper prescription medication for your unique needs.
Buprenorphine (Suboxone, Subutex, and Sublocade) a medication that helps prevent cravings for opioids and makes withdrawal feel less intense.
Naltrexone (Vivitrol) is a monthly injectable medication clinically proven to reduce the chances of relapse. During your MAT program, dedicated PAC therapists will provide you with psychiatric counseling, including psychiatric medication, to help you prevent relapse and lead a healthy, addiction-free life.
